Description
Learn the basics of the estate planning process during a free lunch and learn event Nov. 1 at Ledgestone Grille. Presented by Skaggs Foundation, the Legacy Lunch and Learn will feature attorney Andy Peebles and certified financial planner Andrea McKinney.
“This will be a great opportunity to learn the basics of the estate planning process, including the importance and benefits of creating an estate plan, common documents, as well as the pros and cons of various planning techniques,” says Pebbles, of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell, and Brown.
“During my presentation, I’ll also discuss the many useful techniques that are available to support charitable organizations.”
In addition to learning the essentials of estate planning and charitable giving, guests will meet representatives from Central Trust and learn about the services provided by Central Trust as an investment manager, Trustee or corporate fiduciary.
“As we enter into the holiday season and reflect on all of our blessings, this lunch and learn is an opportunity to learn the basics of planning for the future and how you can leave your lasting legacy,” says Skaggs Foundation President Meghan Connell.
The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at Ledgestone Grille, 1600 LedgeStone Way, Branson West, MO 65737. While the event is free, registration is required. To register, call 417-269-INFO (4636). Registration closes Oct. 25 or when capacity is reached.
