Building Champions On and Off the Mat: Championship Martial Arts Branson West

Championship Martial Arts Branson West

Championship Martial Arts of Table Rock Lake recently marked its one-year anniversary, and owner Mike Adams has plenty to celebrate. Since opening the school’s doors in January 2024, Mike and his team have focused on more than just Taekwondo—they’ve been shaping lives.

Located in Branson West, Championship Martial Arts is a family-owned school with a mission to Build Champions in Life. With programs for kids as young as four, teens, adults, and even students with unique learning needs, the school combines physical skill-building with core values like Focus, Discipline, Respect, and Confidence. “We’re here to help our students grow—not just as martial artists, but as people,” said Mike.

What sets Championship Martial Arts apart is its deeply personal approach. Every student is known by name, and every success is celebrated. Programs are tailored to meet individuals where they are, including those with ADHD, autism, or mobility challenges. As a veteran-owned business, mentorship and service are at the heart of everything they do.

The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce has played a key role in the school’s growth. From helping promote their grand opening to providing networking opportunities and marketing support, Mike credits the Chamber with helping them connect to the local community in meaningful ways. “Joining the Chamber wasn’t just good for business—it made us part of something bigger.”

As the school enters year two, Mike offers this advice to other entrepreneurs: “Don’t wait until everything’s perfect—just start. Serve your community, lean into your support system, and keep showing up.”

With a strong foundation and a mission that inspires, Championship Martial Arts is poised to keep making a difference—one kick, one class, and one Champion at a time.
