The Funky Twig: A Sweet Spot in Kimberling City

The Funky Twig in Kimberling City

For nearly seven years, Kristie and Brody Usher has been serving up smiles at The Funky Twig, Kimberling City’s beloved small-town ice cream and coffee shop. Family-owned and operated, The Funky Twig has become a favorite gathering place for both locals and visitors looking to cool off after a day on Table Rock Lake.  It is such a favorite, it has been voted the Best in Southwest Missouri for three years running.

What sets The Funky Twig apart? It’s their commitment to quality. They create artisan ice cream using premium ingredients, churning small batches fresh each week. With more than 60 rotating and seasonal flavors, there’s always something new to try. Along with delicious ice cream, the shop also offers craft coffee, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

Kristie credits the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce with helping her business grow through advertising, promotions, and valuable networking opportunities. Her advice to new business owners? "Keep going! Don’t let year one get you down!"

At The Funky Twig, passion, perseverance, and a love for community come together one scoop at a time.
